We know that getting a degree can't be done without support.
So now you've done it, your supporters want to celebrate too - and we want them to enjoy your day as much as you do!
We've tried to answer all the questions you might have about your guests and graduation, including buying tickets, so check the FAQ here before you contact us.
How to buy guest tickets

You buy guest tickets during the registration process.

Two tickets per student, usually 拢13 each. Check your registration email for the confirmed price.

If extra tickets become available after registration closes, you鈥檒l be emailed.

Guest tickets are not posted. You collect them at the Caird Hall (see below).

There are no official guest invitations. If you need a letter for visa purposes, your own 'Awaiting Graduation' letter can be downloaded from OASIS once you鈥檝e registered.

How much are guest tickets?
Guest tickets are usually 拢13 each. But that can change, so check your registration emails which will have the update-to-date details and correct ticket price.
Can I buy more guest tickets?
Once registration closes and we know how many people are attending, we may be able to offer extra guest tickets. We will email you if this is the case.
If available, when will extra guest tickets go on sale?
If we can offer extra guest tickets, they go on sale after graduation registration closes.
All students attending will be emailed with details about how to buy them.
Do I need a guest ticket for my child?
Tickets for children under five are free, but must be included as part of the number of guest tickets you are allocated.
Children aged two and under, and who can sit on an adult鈥檚 knee, do not need a ticket.
Where do I collect my guest tickets?
Registration desks are at The Caird Hall. This is where you collect your invitation card, seat number and any guest tickets you've bought.
You can normally collect tickets the afternoon before Graduation day (2pm-5pm), and from 8.30am on the day of the ceremony itself.
My guests have special requirements/need accessible seating
If you or your guests have specific access or disability requirements, special seating arrangements or require support on the day, please tell us about this during the graduation registration process, by email to graduationevents@abertay.ac.uk.
We always do our very best to accommodate this. But we need time to plan, so may not be able to organise support if you haven't told us about it before the actual day of the ceremony.
My guests have a pram/buggy, where can we leave it?
Prams and buggies need to be left in a designated area during the ceremony. There is very little space, so they can't be taken into the main hall.
Where is the Graduation ceremony?
All Abertay Graduation ceremonies take place in , in the centre of Dundee.
