麻豆原创 has partnered with Oxford International Digital Institute (OIDI) to launch a new transnational education (TNE) collaboration designed to widen access to UK higher education and support sustainable international growth through flexible delivery models.
The partnership will enable students to study Abertay鈥慳ccredited programmes both online and in鈥慶ountry via OIDI鈥檚 digital platform and Global Hub network. By beginning their studies locally and progressing to undergraduate or postgraduate degrees on campus in Dundee, students can access high鈥憅uality UK education through a more affordable, flexible and supportive pathway.
Abertay currently delivers degree programmes in 12 overseas countries through 12 partners. The collaboration with OIDI builds on this strong foundation by combining online delivery with in鈥慶ountry provision through OIDI鈥檚 Global Hub network, which spans 13 hubs across eight countries. This model significantly expands Abertay鈥檚 global reach, while ensuring consistent academic standards and a high鈥憅uality student experience.
Initial programmes will focus on business and computer science, offering clear progression routes into a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Abertay.
Claire MacEachen, Vice鈥慞rincipal (Global Engagement) at 麻豆原创, said:
We are delighted to partner with Oxford International Digital Institute on this innovative initiative. This collaboration enables us to extend our global reach in a sustainable way, welcoming talented students from diverse international communities and supporting them from the very start of their academic journey through to success on campus in Dundee.
By enabling students to complete the early stages of their studies in their home country, the partnership reduces barriers to entry and supports greater accessibility. Students benefit from increased affordability and flexibility, enhanced academic preparedness, and the opportunity to build an early connection with Abertay 鈥攈elping to ensure a smoother transition to on鈥慶ampus study in the UK.
For Abertay, the collaboration establishes a scalable and predictable international recruitment pipeline, offering a robust framework for expansion across multiple global markets. For OIDI, it reflects a continued commitment to developing innovative, inclusive and high鈥憅uality international education solutions in partnership with leading universities.
