Biography

My research focuses on neurodiversity and neurodivergent culture. I am interested in several different areas including:

  • ND friendships and relationships
  • ND identity
  • ADHD masking
  • ND in Higher Eduction

I have also researched visual perception and how our brains understand the visual world around us, including:

  • How camouflage undermines the visual system.
  • How colour and luminance cues are combined.
  • The influence of colour on visual discomfort.
  • Human locomotion
  • Symmetry

I teach on and I am module lead for:

PSY301 - Human Variability: Psychobiology & Behaviour

PSY406 - Brain Investigations
