Lectures and practical tutorials are where you鈥檒l work with staff, other students and industry mentors to develop unique solutions to project briefs. Your tutorial sessions will focus on developing innovative ideas, process and technique that lead to a final outcome.
We believe that portfolios of creative work represent artist and designers at their best. This means they form the majority of our assessments, often submitted with supporting documentation to underpin your creative work and intellectual insights.
Academic writing also contributes to assessments, often in the form of critique or reflective reports. These are produced in order to develop your contextual awareness and subject knowledge.
Visual presentations develop critical communication skills and are core to assessments. They will help build your confidence and professionalism. With guidance from the academic team and industry mentors, you'll learn how to demonstrate and communicate your process effectively, as well as finding the best ways to display your work.

Applicants who have passed the full IBDP with a total minimum score of 25, with any essential subjects achieved at SL5 or HL4, will be considered for Year 1 entry.

We accept and encourage applications with the International Baccalaureate Careers-related Programme (IBCP) but understand that your combination of qualifications may differ depending on where you are studying.
Applicants studying the full IBCP will be required to pass CP Core. IBDP courses will have to relate to essential subjects (where relevant) and passed with SL5 or HL4.
Entry to Year 1
Applicants studying a US High School Diploma will be required to pass with a GPA of 2.8 (on a 4-point scale). Any essential subjects to be achieved with minimum grade B.
If applying for year 1 entry, standardised testing is optional, however may make an application more competitive, particularly if the High School Diploma score is lower than stated above, or if the essential subject is not covered in the curriculum.
We will consider a lower High School Diploma score if sufficient evidence exists to support an offer such as strong scores in standardised tests, professional experience in the subject area, extracurricular activities linked to the programme, college classes, etc.
