Entry point

Most of our postgraduate taught courses start in September. A small number also have January entry, which is noted on the course page if it applies.

Deadlines

•      UK applicants: aim to apply at least four weeks before your course starts. Later applications may be accepted if there are still spaces available on the course.

•      International applicants requiring a Student visa: aim to apply by early August at the very latest for September entry. This gives time for decision, CAS issue and visa processing.

•      Applicants applying for a scholarship: check the scholarship page for its specific deadline, as most close earlier than the course deadline.

What to expect and when

•      Application received: we'll typically acknowledge within two working days.

•      Decision: typically within a few weeks for most courses (it's often sooner but may also be longer for courses with portfolio or interview requirements).

•      Offer accepted: you'll get enrolment information about six weeks before term.

•      International applicants: CAS issued once you've accepted, paid your deposit and met any conditions.
